Personal Interests: In his free time Mateo plays soccer in various leagues in NYC and enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming, and biking.
Mateo J. Vila, a first-generation immigrant himself, handles all aspects of workers’ compensation claims and social security disability claims for Gregos Vila. After graduating with an engineering degree, Mateo attended law school focusing on and receiving recognition for his litigation skills, including trial, mediation and arbitration advocacy. Before founding Gregos Vila, Mateo spent years with large-sized law firms defending professionals, including attorneys and accountants, and learning the ins and outs of insurance companies. His dedication and relentless “refusing to lose” mentality sets the tone for what Gregos Vila is about, getting results for his clients.
